well, it depends in what sort of mood I'm in really. You know how sometimes you are inexplicably drawn to the rough masculine (and er... bearded, usually)
type, while sometimes you just want to cuddle up against something cute and smooth?
 (PS: I really like this smiley)
Thing is, Will looks awfully (but not awful!) young and boyish - dare I say even a tiny bit effeminate? Of course I do: "even a tiny bit effeminate"  - without his beard. Perhaps, now that he's entered his thirties,
he just wants to shake off that boyish look a bit and look more masculine? And how else - aside from more drastic approaches like gluing on artificial chest
hair - to achieve that look than by growing a bit of chin fluff 
I say: go for it, Will!

as long as he doesn't get into brad pitt territory with the beard (and when i say beard i do mean facial hair and not angelina)
tho i have been watching older series of BMW and tho very handsome throughout i've found i prefer will with longer hair in the end of season 5 kind of look.. particularly in Eric Hollywood. he was hot. i had considered the tiny bit effeminate thing before, which is why im still surprised he didn't make a great girl in... whatever that episode was where him and jack dressed up as girls. Tho maybe that was the point. He still doesn't look in his 30's tho, either he's clean living (yeah right!) or he has a great moisteriser (more likely)

I completely agree with you saying he looked particularly hot in the fifth series! mmmmmmmm floppy hair!!! But he's got his best years - at least in my eyes - still ahead! I always find men in their late thirties the most attractive... (that's to say: if he's even ever going to be on the telly -- EVER!)

oh yes.. 30's is a good age for men. Mature enough to know.. er.. things
 but young enough to still be able to do.. er.. things i'm planning on
still liking guys in their 30's when i'm in my 60's
but as we're not seeing much of Will -- EVER! i will settle for the floppy floppy hair
