Will's family and friends are throwing a hometown premiere of National Lampoon's Gold Diggers on September 17, 2004 at the Crown Theatres in Hartford, CT. The following is from an article in today's Hartford Courant. Pay special attention to the part that says "...complete with Will Friedle, himself..."
Ah, but now comes Hartford's turn.
Family and friends of Dr. Dave Mucci of New Britain General Hospital and his wife, Jeanne, said that Will, who starred in the sitcom "Boy Meets World" and is the voice of Ron Stoppable in the Disney TV cartoon "Kim Possible," should get a hometown premiere.
So they arranged for Hartford's Crown Palace Theater to hold a red-carpet (for real!) opening Friday at 6 before the 7 p.m. showing of the movie. The Muccis sent out invitations, but the pre-movie festivities, complete with Will Friedle, himself, are open to anyone who buys a ticket.
Dave Mucci anticipates there'll be lawyers, judges, nurses, doctors and "lots of giggling 14- and 15-year-olds."
