The only thing that pisses me off is when people STEAL photos (Sand's or anyone else's) & puts them up on their site without asking permission -- or giving credit where credit is due.
Well, I can understand why that would piss you off, but the truth is that pictures are fair game. I mean, unless you are the copyright owner of the photos you post on a Web site, you can't legally dictate how they should be used (or not used) regardless of how much time it took you to upload them or whatever. I mean, if you're already using them on your site without the copyright owner's permission, aren't you technically guilty of copyright infringement yourself? Best thing you could do is look up and credit the true copyright owners if possible, put up a "use at your own risk" notice and pray that you yourself don't get sued!
For the record, just so you don't think I'm trying to play Miss High and Mighty Law Girl or anything, I too have been down the road of using copyrighted material on my Web sites and telling people not to use them. No one ever came after me though, and I doubt that anyone will come after Sand either. It's always up to the copyright owners to take legal action, but unless you're literally making copies of something and selling them as your own work, the really big companies (Disney, Viacom, etc.) will most likely leave you alone as long as you're crediting the proper sources. Heck, it's free publicity as far as they're concerned.
Sorry to go off here, but as an artist and a small business, I feel pretty strongly about copyrights and trademarks and all that stuff!
